Xenical
Xenical is a medicine that contains the active substance orlistat. Available in the form capsule turquoise (120 mg).
What is Xenical used for?
Xenical is used in combination with diet for the treatment of obese patients with index Body mass index (BMI) greater than or equal to 30 kg per square meter, or overweight patients (BMI greater than or equal to 28 kg / ml) who are at risk of health due to their weight. The medicine can only be obtained with a prescription.
How is Xenical used?
Take one Xenical capsule with water shortly before, during or up to one hour after every main taste. If you miss a meal or if a meal does not contain fat, you should not take Xenical. The patient should follow a diet in which about 30% of calories comes from fat and which is rich in fruits and vegetables. The food in diet should be divided into three main meals.
